The woman behind the work

I opened my first salon at 21.

By 27 I couldn't get out of bed.

Burnout didn't arrive gently. It arrived all at once — my body shutting down completely, my entire world stopping, every system saying no more. I had built something I was proud of, but I had built it at the expense of myself.

That was when I found Kinesiology.

In my first session, the practitioner articulated exactly what I was feeling — things I didn't have words for, things I had never said out loud. I left speechless. Something in me knew, even then, that this was different.

But my path was not linear.

I returned to the salon without making the changes I needed. And my body asked again — this time through a broken wrist, six surgeries, and the eventual sale of everything I had spent a decade building.

I tried teaching. I tried real estate. I was searching for something meaningful, something that would allow me to make a real difference in people's lives. It took time to find it — or perhaps, to finally let myself choose it.

I began studying Kinesiology and I never looked back.

Today I am a mother to Isla, in a loving and supportive relationship, living a life I could once only dream of. Not because everything is perfect — but because I finally stopped sacrificing my nervous system to sustain it.

Calm State was born from my own healing.

Every woman who sits across from me, or connects with me online receives the version of this work that I wish someone had offered me at 27.

don't have to hit a wall to begin.

But if you have , I understand, and I've got you.
